BioSo I've been told that I need to re-write my bio, because SOMEONE feels they should be mentioned in this bitch... And I guess becuase I havn't updated it since 2005 and a little bit has changed since. So.... My name is Alex, I live in Quincy, IL, a small mid western town north of St. Louis, I'm not a big fan of this town, but I've gotten over my teenage "OMG THIS PLACE SUX!!!1" and I actually do like our sleepy lil town of racists and arsonists.
I live in a tiny little apartment with my stunningly awesome wife Jessica (happy now? :-P), our mentally disabled cat Lily and downs syndrom having birds. Right now I'm working at T.G.I. Friday's as a server, a job I really, really like, yeah it has its downsides but I really dig it there and I work with a lot of very cool people.
Other than that there isn't a whole hell of a lot to say about me, I'm a gigantic movie nut, have a few hundred dvds. I'm the type of nerd who checks aintitcool.com and chud.com every day to see whats going on in the movie industry, gets pissed when people talk bad about indie films and won't watch a movie if it's not in widescreen. I'm also pretty damn into gaming, though to a lesser extent. And no, not table top gaming, or *shudder* LARPing. I'm talking about normal, healthy video games, love my XBox 360 and my Wii quite a bit. I'm very much so a liberal, though not a fan of the lable of being one, cuz once in awhile I do agree with a conservitive or two or think that the dems are a large gathering of idiots. I'm 100% an Obama supporter and will be voting for him come November.
That's really about it, I don't touch my LJ all that much, but I will update once in awhile, so I'll see ya around my LJ homies.
